FIRST AND SECOND layer of silicone. I apply these layers without using thixotrop agent, to get a close impression of my original, and to minimize occurence of air bubbles. The thixotrop agent in the mix prevents the silicone from running off. It stays where I want it to, even vertically (I hope). Tomorrow, when these steps are cured during night hours, I can start the day with laying on thicker silicone covers.
I’m planning to make this mould in one piece. It’s a little risky (not so much) but it’s simplier and faster. It means that I probably have to make a strategic placed incision, to get the ”horns” and chin lose. But that is future worries.
